prices while offering excellent client service Staff: ![]() Matthew C. Edson, DVM - Veterinarian [ Email ] Matt was born and raised in the area and has lived in Eastampton since early childhood. He has strong community ties, was active in the Burlington County 4-H program for many years ,and continues to volunteer to support the program whenever possible. He attended elementary and middle school in Eastampton and is a 2001 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. In 2005 he completed Paramedic certification (MICP) through Virtua Health prior to graduating from Rutgers Cook College with a double-major in Animal Science and Biology (BS) in 2007. He is a 2011 graduate of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. Growing up on a small farm, agriculture and animals have always been his passion. From a young age he has been active in the horse community and was an active hunter/jumper rider and trainer for many years. Work experiences have been varied to say the least and have included time spent as a cow milker at the old Sunnyside Dairy in Westampton, NJ, an ocean lifeguard for the Long Beach Township Beach Patrol, a Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic for the Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service Corporation, and an adjunct professor in the Science, Math, and Technology department at Burlington County College. Matt is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine with an emphasis on equine, small ruminant, and pot bellied pig medicine and surgery. He has a variety of animal family members including his horses (Max, Polly, and Bud), a miniature donkey (Buster), a mule (Bo), two sheep (Opie and Otis), four pot bellied pigs (Cranberry, Wilshire, Bea, and Clara), a Jersey steer (Sammy), two golden retrievers (Murphy and Cody), and four cats (Socks, Captain, Morgan, and Lilly). Mary Callens, CVT - Veterinary Technician [ Email ] ![]() Mary is a certified vet tech with a degree in biology and business. As well as a specialty in animal dental hygiene, she comes to us with variety of experience in large and small animal practice. Currently, she is also pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy and looks forward to becoming certified in canine and equine physical therapy. Katlyn Remillard - Veterinary Technician [ Email ]
Katlyn
completed veterinary technician school at Harcum
College in Pennsylvania and is preparing to complete
her licensing exam. She is a long-time
equestrian and competed on the hunter/jumper circuit
for many years. She brings experience from her
prior work at both small and mixed animal veterinary
clinics.
